▶ Pribble for Legal
The notetaker you’d invite
to a privileged conversation.
Attorney-client privilege doesn’t survive a cloud upload. Pribble records, transcribes, and summarizes entirely on your Mac — nothing reaches a vendor’s server, ever. No bot. No account. No waiver risk.
✖ Why the others fail you
Cloud notetakers and privilege don’t mix.
Otter's class action
Users alleged audio was processed without adequate informed consent. Any cloud notetaker handling attorney-client communications faces the same exposure.
NYC Bar warning (Dec 2025)
The New York City Bar Association explicitly warned members about AI notetaker privacy risks in legal settings — specifically cloud upload of privileged communications.
IT & compliance bans
BigLaw and boutique firms alike are blocking cloud notetakers at the network level. The bot that joins your call might not survive the next IT policy review.
The waiver question
Uploading a privileged conversation to a third-party cloud service creates a real argument that privilege was waived. Courts are still figuring this out. Why test it?
✓ How Pribble protects you
Every protection is verifiable, not promised.
Audio never leaves your Mac
WhisperKit transcribes in real time, entirely on-device. No audio is uploaded for transcription — not to Pribble's servers, not anywhere.
Lockdown mode
Flip one switch and conversation content can't be sent to any cloud AI. In-process enforcement — the network monitor will show you zero cloud requests for that session.
Live network monitor
Every outbound request Pribble makes is visible, logged, and exportable. Run Wireshark yourself. We show you the silence.
No bot joins your call
Pribble records system audio locally. There's no meeting bot, no participant to admit or deny, no entry in the call log.
Free — no subscription, no vendor relationship
A subscription creates an ongoing data relationship. Pribble is free and local. The only thing on anyone's servers is your local drive.
Your recordings, your files
Everything lives in ~/Documents/Pribble/Recordings/. You can see it in Finder, export it, delete it. No account required.
A note on scope
Lockdown’s in-app enforcement covers all of Pribble’s own network calls. For environments where iCloud sync also can’t touch the conversation, use Airgap mode or disable iCloud. OS-level network enforcement (a full egress block) is in development — we’ll say so plainly when it ships. Under-claim, over-prove.
Free. On-device. Built for the room where privilege matters.
